Back in Cape Girardeau, MO

Steve and I arrived home on Saturday, December 13th to chilly temperatures. I was able to see Grandma just hours after arriving...she asked "If I was though traveling?" We went to dinner at my Mom and Dad's...kettle beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and homemade bread...Steve was in heaven.

We have been busy visiting family and friends and weather proofing the RV for the frosty temperatures here in Missouri.

Last Shift At UMC Tucson

My last shift included a wonderful farewell from my co-workers at UMC.

Dinner at Historic EL Corral in Tucson

The staff from the ED at UMC went to dinner at EL Corral this evening. The steakhouse has been serving Tucsonans since 1936...they are know for their prime rib which Steve enjoyed this evening.

Becky is a nurse at UMC from San Diego (I thought I have commuted long distances in the past) she always has a smile for her co-workers and patients. Vicki (my preceptor when I first arrived at UMC) and her grandson Pierce came to dinner...she is one of the reasons that I survived my orientation.

Susan Kinkade and her husband Randy...she not only works in the ED but promotes injury prevention for AZ ENA in Southern Arizona.

Deb and Vance also work in the ED. They have been "life savers" to me on many occasions when drowning in my zone. I am going to miss all of you!

Lastly I had to take this picture...got to love Christmas lights on the cactus. We are only 9 days from leaving Tucson.
